ATI Radeon 5470 Help

hello everybody....actually i have a akoya medion p6512
Its specifications are as follows-
AMD Athlon II P320 dual core processor(2.1 ghz)
3gb Ram
Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5470 (1783mb)
the problem is that i am facing very much lags in games like nfs most wanted 2012,nfs the run,nfs hot pursuit 2010 n some more
can anybody tell me why i am facing such lags even at the lowest settings in all the games?

That would be because that is BARELY higher end than the low-end HD 4350 in my laptop, however I have a much faster CPU. I run Most Wanted 2012 on low at 1280x720 and average less than 20 fps, BF3 on low at 640x480 averaging less than 20 fps..so this is pretty much normal for our systems.

your problem is that you have a Athlon II x2 which is very low end processor... and your Graphics Card is not any good either.
Your PC will have trouble even playing modern multi-threaded games at low resolutions such as 1080x768 or 720p

Which graphic driver are you using, you probably also have an onboard ati 4200 chip. (my notebook has about the same chipset)
The driver has to switch between the two graphic chips, for me this only works with the driver provided by HP.
Installing a Catalyst driver from the AMD website doesn't work, (i tried it).
So you best check on the manufacturers website for the newest graphics driver.
