Hi everyone, I'm in dire need of a new computer, either a small itx size pc or laptop. I'm moving abroad next week and don't have space in my car for my current desktop, plus it could do with upgrading anyway (e6850, 4GB ddr2, hd6670!). Can anyone please suggest a small itx build or laptop recommendations, my budget is around £500.

Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP

Budget Range: £500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: General browsing, Games (bf3 mainly), photoshop, movies.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Everything apart from HDD and possibly GPU - will keep current card to stay in budget if necessary

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Don't mind

Location: UK, North West

Parts Preferences: Intel i5 or FX8350

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050

Additional Comments: I've been offered an Alienware M11x R3 (I7, GT540m) for £450, how would this fair for the tasks I want?

Thanks!

No HDD and GPU.

I would've preferred an ATX case if possible. So is this definitely not an option?

Not really unfortunately, I know it would be better but my current case is a rubbish old Dell Inspiron 530 and it literally won't fit in my car (two-seater Z3), it's going to be a joke trying to fit everything in so really need to get the smallest size possible! I suppose I could mail it over but I'd be worried about damage though. Could I fit the build you suggested in a smaller case? Thanks for your help so far!
