WD External HDD Not Readable

Hi. I have a WD external HDD 2TB and USB 3.0 connector. When I plug it into my PC it detects the usb device and installs the drivers but it does not show up in my computer. I tried plugging it into 2 other PCs but it still doesn't show up. I then tried to run recovery software thinking it was corrupt or something. The recovery program detects it but says it's not readable. I then went into device manager to see if there were any problems there and there wasn't any. I checked Disk Manager and it shows up as 'unknown' and not initialized. When I try to initialize I get a message that it cannot be initialized due to a device I/O error.

I removed the HDD from it's case and plugged it back into my PC. But it's still the same thing. It lights up but it's not spinning. I also tried using a different cable but still no luck. I'm considering getting an identical external drive and putting the new circuit board on the old drive to see if that gets the disk to spin.

Any ideas or suggestions of what I could try? There is some data on the HDD that I need and I know I'm an idiot for not backing it up in another location but this is the situation I am in and could use some help/advice. Thanks

Nothing like that. It's external storage. When I opened it up it was just the USB 3.0 connector attached to the circuit board. Nothing on the inside looks bent or broken.
