  1. Hello, your motherboard and CPU don't match socket, you'll need a Z87 motherboard for that CPU

Any reason for so much RAM?

Everything else seems to be fine.

Not 100% on their returns policy, but I'm sure if it's still packaged then you should be fine, keep a copy of the receipt just in case.

In terms of getting the correct socket, I would either get this motherboard: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z87%20Extreme4/

or alternatively get a Intel i5 3570k CPU,

Your choice with what you go with, oh, and good luck! Let me know how it goes!

Good choice of motherboard, can handle a good overclock if you're thinking about OC'ing and also supports SLI if you're thinking about that for the future. All the best and I hope you enjoy your rig!

  8. You're very welcome!
One more thing, you might want to order an extra couple of SATA cables as your motherboard only come with 2 and you'll need them for both you HDD and Optical Drive.
