toshiba p750 windows 7 installation setup is starting stuck

Hi there, i have a toshiba satelite p750 core i7 processor, 8gb ram 750gb hard drive. It has preinstalled windows 7 basic os it is already giving me some problem. Now i want windows 7 ultimate as my os. But sad to say i cant proceed with the fresh instal of ultimate bcause i am stuck at setup is starting. I have also tried some solutions that i have read, disconnecting almost everything except for the most but stil no success. I cant even format the HDD. Please help me i am about to give up.... please email me

First back up all of your files. Disconnect any USB hard drives or memory sticks. Then boot from the Windows installer disk, select custom install, unpartition all partitions that are listed, and then install to the single unpartitioned space.

I have already my backup my files. I have also disconnected usb hard drives and memory sticks. But i cant unpartitioned the partitiined drives bcoase i cant continue. I stuck at setup is starting. I also try to repair at the install now screen to go to command prompt to format and have diskpart but it hangs. Thanks

I would check my system components at that point. Download the free memtest86+ from HERE, burn it to a CD (not DVD but CD), and boot from it. That will tell you that the memory and optical drive are fine.

I would also check the Win7 install disk and see that it can be read on another computer.
