I have an issue that is specific to W7. For whatever reason, my internet just stopped working, even though Wifi works, AND it says that I am connected to the internet. Even further, luckily I also have Ubuntu installed on my machine, so I've been using that for the past couple of days to access the internet, so because of that, it's obvious that the problem has nothing to do with hardware, and has everything to do with W7.

What I did so far: disabled all firewalls, ran anti-virus/anti-spyware several times, as well as verified that I was not using proxies. I also did a manual reset of my TCP/IP via the command prompt.

Would really appreciate the help! Thanks!!

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : socal.rr.com? seems like its from your provider or possibly an old provider but for that mine lists nothing. Have you tried going into your lan adapter and setting the same addresses ip addresses into it for ipv4? set your ip to 192.168.1.125 255.255.255.0 and gateway to 192.168.1.1 and set your dns to googles which is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and see if it works.
sounds like a driver issue possibly. go to device manager(rightclick my comp) and go to network adapters then rightclick on your lan adapter and hit remove but do not remove your driver. now up top hit scan for changes( magnifying glass) and it sould reinstall it. when releasing and renewing your ip from cmd what address were you getting?

Thanks for the reply! I tried the Device Manager thing, but no luck. I just did a "IPConfig/All" command in the Command Prompt...Not sure it will help, but I guess it can't hurt:
