Hi guys i have a conundrum,

I have had my system for just over a year and a half for the first 9 or so months I had no dedicated gpu and I still had this problem.
My system>
i5-25k
msi branded 660ti
msi z68a-gd80
8gb corsair vengance
8gb corsair dominator(yeah itll be downclocked)
coursair enthusiast TX V2 CMPSU-850TXV2UK 850W
windows 7

so ill just be pootling along playing my game and then randomly my screen with loose signal for maybe 1 or 2 seconds then come back on, its really freaky, my sound doesn't distort at all ie i can continue to panic at people on mumble, and it isn't caused by me knocking something(i have wobbled evverything) and i have tried a different hdmi cable along with the dvi port on my gfx card.

At the moment i think it may be related to my psu somehow (currently after unhibernating my powerphase indicator lights are flickering normally are steady)

I can try to stress test my gpu to show up any errors but any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

MrG.

yep you are totally right, yeah i thaught about that especially since when my moniter came back on all of the setting had reset to default, HOWEVER i just this week baught a new moniter(higher spec so this wouldnt happen) and i still get the issue (which ill admit made me quite depressed when it started happeneing again )

im not sure i think it may happen less(probably confusing the matter) but its still happening willy nilly.

My drivers are the latest,
Settings of my old moniter reset back to default whenever the blackout happened, new moniter still get blackouts not as often and the settings dont change
