Hello All,
We have a Gateway ID 58Laptop. Just installed win 7 and for some reason the DVD Drive rejects all CD'S, DVD'S etc..
the device manager does recognize the Matashita UJ867 Optical drive and has loaded a windows driver for it, but the drive just spits out any disc you put in it. It even locks out, you have to go to "my Computer", rt click DVD icon and hit "eject" to allow you to try to put another disc in.
This drive worked fine in Vista
there is no support from Gateway, Matashita, Panasonic.
Any help much appreciated.
