So I have recently built my own PC and installed Windows 7 on it.I've been needing to ask one question though. How do you make Windows 7 boot up automatically when the computer is turned on?As of now I have to use the boot menu to use Windows 7 and I would like to know if there's a way so I won't have to manually start up off the hard drive just so I can use the computer (It would get tedious).

Anyway thanks if you can help.

Whatever drive Windows is on, make that first in the BIOS boot order. As exists in 99.5% of all PC's on the planet.

Sounds like you may have a system that has other boot options like the recovery console and whatnot.

You can turn down the time it takes to auto start by using the Boot tab in msconfig. Setting it to 0 should startup right away, but will not allow you to select any other options so make sure you have Windows set as default. You can use a short time like 2-5 second if you wish.
