Hey guys,

Finished my build after a week or so. Ended up with;
Antec 300 2
ASUS P8Z77-V LL
ASUS 660 ti
ASUS 660 ti
Nvidia 660 ti with artic custom cooler
Intel i5 2400
Rosewill lightning 1000w, love this silent!!
Balistix 16gb 1600
Corsair h55 cpu water cooler

After I'm all setup, got the long Sli
Bridge today, I boot up and go to enable Sli only to see my top two cards are in Sli and the 3rd is just a standalone. Now I'm thinking the mobo is not Tri Sli compatible. Anyone know for sure? Thanks

What is the purpose of the 3rd slot, phsyx dedicated card?

If ya use this on some ROG boards, it disables SLI ....dual x8 goes to x8/x4/x4

Hmm I have a Ceton cable card in slot 1.

So I'm in 240 each for the Asus 660ti's and potentially another 300 for a tri sli mobi. That's 800. Should I just get a Titan at this point?

Should I shell out the extra 30 a card for the 4gb 770? I'm only going to game on a 1080p 65" Panasonic plasma. I do like to over kill my spec though.

Look at the numbers and decide for yaself..... I used to say above 2600 x 1600 go for 4 GB, but it's a tough argument to make seeing the data in this link ..... personally at 1920 x 1080, i cant see the extra $$

i wrote something else at first, now i just realized that the 3rd slot happens to be controlled by another chipset. the first 2 PCI E slots are 3.0, the last is 2.0. Z77 doesn't do 2.0.

having said that, you only need to find a board that will do tri sli in 8x + 4x + 4x configuration. your 660 Ti card cannot max out a PCI E 3.0 4x slot. even the GTX 680 and HD 7970 cannot max it out
