Hi
I have gone through many threads but most of them are about gaming
I am looking for desktop configuration for 1000$ for working in Cs6 , lightroom and other imaging softwares

I have narrowed down to processor alone i7 3770.
I am looking for mobo, RAM and other components including monitor which is perfect fit for photoediting

Thanks in advance

4GB for Photoshop? You can't be serious. You want 8GB minimum, and the more you can get the better. Especially depending on if you're using any third party filters with CS5/6, those things eat RAM for breakfast. And that motherboard is a bit outdated now, you want something with socket LGA 1150.

I would do something like this for a $1K budget:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks...

Hey Skalirajan, Dell 24" LED Monitor Would be a great monitor for photo editing, Corsair Vengeance 4GB Would be a good starting memory for some photo editing, you could always buy two of these for 16GB. ASUS ATX Motherboard is a great motherboard for photo editing.
