Hi there, I would like to build a computer for under $300 computer. I'm not going to be playing games on it but I would like it to support 1080P HD video of course. I will be putting this computer in the basement for watching videos while exercising.

I really like the AMD A10-6800K Richland because of the better integrated graphics. Any suggestions? I don't need a monitor and a hard drive since I already have a SSD to be installed.

I got it to $301:

I know you said you like the AMD, but I'd still go with Intel. I have a PC in my house running with this i3 and onboard video with Intel 2000 graphics is great for videos and will even play MMORPGs at low settings smoothly. You already have drives and a monitor so I didn't include those.

A decent $300 laptop would also plug into an external monitor and do the same thing for you.
