I would like to Build a High-frequency trading computer or server with a $500 budget or if needed up to $1000. I just have a startup and understand that companies spend millions to build super computers etc... I just need the best with the budget and can scale at a later time. This will be one program running Linux (Ubuntu) and will be processing millions of quotes a day.





Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP

Budget Range: $500 to $1000 but more if necessary

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Dedicated hft computer/server
OS: linux
Preferred Website(s) for Parts e.g.: newegg.com
Minimum 500 gb hard drive
Country of Origin:USA

no Monitors included
Parts Preferences: gigabit lan port
Overclocking: Prefer not to as I don’t know how


I would greatly appreaciate any recommendations of good part combination/configurations that would meet my needs as well as feedback regarding home built reliability.

My recommendation is That You rent one Directly Between the exchange server , That trade is performing high- frequency trading , this is called CO_LOCATION ...
this costs about 8,000 dollars a month then you need a good bandwidth , it can not be Done with the router in your house! hahaha .. Perseus TNSI one network type ... we use several ... http://www.mckay-brothers.com/

I forgot, if you really have 10.millions dollars or more and really want to make this type of trading .. (and earn money doing it) (not only waste time and money).. .. We also have high frequency consulting and everything you need to take you and your business to more resounding success .... fixed consulting fee is cHF 100,000 per year.
