Please give me advice on how to keep my new system "nice and fresh".

So I just spent $900 dollars on a new system. It's the most I've ever spent on a computer. Now looking at my old computer it has gotten a lot slower over the past years. So how do I keep my new pc in top condition all the time?

You might want to consider backing up your boot partition to an external drive, so that when things start running slow, you can go back to a known good state. It is also a good idea to blow out your PC with compressed air a couple times a year.
