Help building a PC before xmas

I am looking to build a gaming PC this year probably finish before or around Christmas time. My budget will be from 1000-1200. This budget is including a monitor, tower case, and OS. This will be the first PC I will be building so if I can get a nice list of parts and prices that would be great.

I wont need a mouse, keyboard, or speakers. Just the other stuff mentioned. I will be using it for mainly gaming. I will be using it for certain applications I use in school like photoshop. I would also like external drives.

True, I did not think about black friday deals at all. I guess it would be wiser to just wait a little longer then seeing how I am so limited to money use.
