weird files and usb stick

have recently bought a new memory stick for our new lg smart tv i converted all our files into mp4s which i had on my old usb and played absolutely fine put them on the new usb and they dont play says file not valid. Tried them on my old usb play fine weirdly any help before i fling yet another usb in the bin already had two mess up and go to write protected in past week. Also the storage has not gone down when ive deleted filed from it theres a folder of 20 gb of movies on a 64 gb stick but its says 38 gb left. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

sorry I will sound really thick but the 3d movies i have are mp4 and play fine off the usb ok so im assuming it is?

I'm confused. Wasn't the problem that they wouldn't play from the new usb stick, but worked from the old one?

If so, the problem might be the file system on the new stick. That's completely separate from the file types or the data in itself, it's how the files are organized on the drive.

hi sorry Im not too bright on tech

I have lots of 3d videos they were in mp4 and played on old usb and new usb so i converted all my other video files into mp4 usin wondershare. They dont work on new usb.

I then tried mkv and avi they worked on old usb not new. Im now trying all video formats to try and get a solution that works to clear up my laptop soon :)

The properties say fat32 :)
