Intel suggest that 3770 uses 1 and 2 core at 3.9 GHz and 4 core at 3700 MHz at full load .. but my 3770 is running at 4 cores even the system usage is 5 % why this is happening and the temps iam getting also is 55c to 60c !!! are temp going rise if the cpu uses 4 cores please help....

Check you CPU fan to make sure it is working. Also, you may want to Reapply the Thermal Compound, but use some rubbing alchol to clean of the old stuff first. Make sure there is no dust clogging the fins of the heatsink and that all case fans are working.

asus p8h 77v Already disable the Eist feature in bios but the turbo is on.. the temp are also fine at idle 39-41 and full load 60-65 ... its work always at 3800ghz to 3900ghz at idle ... but sometime 3770 is running 3700mhz even the system usage is 5 % and also the temps get to 55c to 60c ... and then after few minutes reaches idle

You need to enable EIST. That way you be in power saving mode and will only use what is need on the CPU. That is why your clocks are so high at idle. Also a reason your temps are higher than you expect, but not dangerously so. That would be up aroung 95c to 100c.

TRIED ENABLE EIST BUT THE RESULTS ARE SAME.. WITHOUT EIST IT REACHES 3.9 BUT WHEN EIST WAS ON IT NEVER REACH MAX TURBO.. 1600MHZ AT IDLE THATS WHY I ENABLE IT

http://postimg.org/image/o35viwf7l/ .... according to the pic ........... 3770 is running at 4 cores even the system usage is 5 % ... .. tried with EIST but same prob...

Your machine will always be using all four cores, no reason to turn off cores or clock some lower than others unless your doing some ridiculous overclocking (which you aren't on a locked CPU).

So your problem is that they are running hot at idle, not load. Check your CPU heatsink and make sure its not full of dust, clean up any cables to promote better airflow or get more fans on your case. If your running a Dell/HP machine, get an enthusiast grade case that can give proper airflow, something like a Corsair 200R. Still having temperature issues, get yourself a cheap heatsink like a 212 EVO and install that.

I HAVE REAPPLIED THE THERMAL PASTE WITH THE RICE METHOD .. AND ALREADY USING DUAL FAN FOR COOLING.. but iam not getting that when there is no load why!!!! they are running hot at idle ALSO.. forget ...... using 212 hyper evo with dual fan please help.

CAPS LOCK DOESN'T GET US ANYWHERE!!!11!!1!
Really, stop it. Its not like the situation calls for panic.

So paste isn't the issue, nor is it due to an insufficient cooler. How is airflow in the case? Try running with the side panel on and off, if there is a significant difference in temps, chances are good that airflow is a problem.
Have you enabled power-saving features in the BIOS and what voltage is the chip running on?

sorry for caps lock .. little paranoid though.. also its strange but this happen at a specfic time only .. checked cpu performance.. but whats wrong in win... coe voltage is 0.888v as per cpu z
