I live in a 2 bedroom apartment (so i am pretty sure distance is not the issue here) but when i connect my laptop to the wireless network (even if i am right next to the router) every now and then the internet just stops for a few seconds or more then comes back. the speed is great http://www.speedtest.net/result/2965250599.png and i can watch HD 1080p videos with no problem what so ever. i tried changing the channel and settings on the wireless page but no luck( better but still problem) mainly when i play league of legends i get dced alot and ping jumps to 300 then back to 60-90
EDIT: wireless router is actionic v1000H and i have 2 of them so if i can connect them together somehow to get better range ?

Since you have 2 have you tried configuring the second one exactly the same and made sure you do not have a strange hardware problem.

The next thing to try is to cable to the router directly. It really sounds like you have a issue with your ISP but wireless is so susceptible to interference you can't even trust it when the pc and the router are on the same desk. If your neighbor hates you enough it is possible to force wireless drops no matter the signal level...though most people do not know that and even less actually know how to accomplish it.

If it does it wired I would ask the ISP to check your line for errors.
