60 gb ssd with 1tb hard drive

My 1tb seagate hard drives OS has failed :( (i can still recover the data.... thank god!)
So i was going to buy a 1 tb WD black and a 60gb ssd
Ill put the os on the ssd and install my programs and games on the 1tb
Is this a good setup?

P.S im on a bugdet

Ok your right there is a 120 gb at newegg for $60 so i could get that!
I would also like to know why this is better than keeping it all ona 1tb.
I want whatever is cheaper, but also what is worth buying!

Yes, I thought $60 was way too low.
A 120/128GB can hold the OS and quite a few applications. Games, not so much, but all your normal apps, yes.
As I posted in another SSD discussion a little while ago:

Win8 Pro, and all my applications. Games/video/music/pictures live elsewhere.

Ok thankyou!! Just one more question, what about the WD solid state hybrid drives? Like the 1tb would that be good?
