Hey again guys. I recently posted about my wifi problem, and as i solved it for a day or two I now encounterd another problem.

SO I keep getting dropped out of the internet on my PC while it is has been stable on my mac since the day I moved in. I use a Wifi USB stick for my pc (Belkin) which picks up a stable signal. Although once in a while i get disconnected and then it reconnects to the router but the router does not give me access to the internet. It is weird as none in the house is having the same problem. I thought it might an IP issue, so i made a static IP address having 192.168.0.49 now, which worked for an hour or so and then the problem came back.

The routers channels are set to 11 and not Auto to be able to allow all macs on the router, could this be a problem?
Should I change the Ghz to 5ghz? is it possible to do so for only my pc while the rest lies on the 2 ghz?

P.s is it possible for the router to change its own IP/gateway?

Thanks for the help!

Solution
On the pc with the USB wifi dongle make sure you turn off power saving and let windows turn this device off to save power. If it on windows will try and power it off at random times.

Wow, that might have been the solution, turned it off and hope it works! Thanks!
