Alright, I've spent a good amount of time picking out the pieces so I hope here I can get some decisiveness and help.

My build is definitely focused for gaming, right now I play League of Legends, World of Warcraft, I have Borderlands 2 and Skyrim but my laptop doesn't handle those two nor WoW to the ability I want it to. I am also looking forward to the newer games such as Watch Dogs and BF4, etc. I believe the parts I've picked are great for what I dream of and possibly even better.

To start my budget is around $1250

Some of the components I have picked because I want this computer to last probably until I'm out of college. Then again, I'm not too sure if I should be spending so much money on certain parts.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K Haswell 3.4GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 760 2GB
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB
HDD: 1TB Western Digital
PSU: Rosewill Fortress 750W, 80 Plus Platinum
MB: Asus Z87 Pro
Aftermarket CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO
Optical Drive: Asus DVD-Writer

Other
Monitor: Acer 21.5"
Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Tourn. Edition (my friend has it and I like it)
Case: Corsair Carbide 500R Black

So a few notes,

My friend has built a computer but isn't an expert, he said I can definitely save some money in certain areas. Then again I'm pretty sure I'm set on the motherboard, gpu, and cpu.

So that's my build and I would love some feedback.

Thanks in advance.

Monitor: If you want gaming monitor then 2ms is great. The one you chose is 5ms. That's ok if it's a IPS panel, but the Acer isn't.
SSD: Once you use it you'll find out why you need/want it.
PSU: 620W is more than enough for this system. SeaSonic i the best manufacturer out there. Rosewill not so much.
Mobo: get a cheaper but great one and put money into SSD.
Case: 400R is excellent and saving money again for SSD.

I decided to change the RAM because it was running at a higher voltage than Intel recommends for Haswell processors.
