I just got a Dell 2007Fbp 20" monitor. When set to the OSD defaults, the screen appears a little fuzzy next to my other Dell flat screen, a 2001FP. So I thought it might help to adjust the sharpness, but the monitor will not let me adjust several of the settings in the menu, including wide mode, sharpness, and zoom. This is true whether I have either the VGA or the DVI video input active. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?

You will not be able to adjust sharpness when using the DVI input as it is a VGA specific setting. You should be able to adjust it when using the VGA input though. Is there a way you can reset the monitor? Sometimes changing some settings disable other settings.

I think you may have put me on the right track there - I found out that the sharpness adjustment, etc. is available only when you're using an S-video input - evidently is not meant to be used with a normal PC connection, whether VGA or DVI. Thanks!
