I'm looking to upgrade my computer, and one of my questions is will my motherboard let me upgrade to the i3 Intel Processor?

My Motherboard: MSI MS-7778

Solution
That's an AMD chipset motherboard, so it definitely won't support an Intel cpu. The socket types are totally different - FM2 for the board, LGA1155 for that i3-2120. You could change the motherboard as well, though, as long as you get a micro-atx size.
