Right now I'm running in safe mode with networking, which works just fine, but I cannot run any webpages on ANY browser (I tried google chrome, Nightly ( Awesomer version of firefox) and the original firefox) but they all say cannot load page. Well, internet explorer just freezes, but that's not a huge problem as I never use it. All of my other programs work, such as Skype, Perfect world international (MMO) and League of Legends. I'm okay with that, but, since I'm a huge fan of browsing the web and youtube, I'm starting to feel very restricted as to what I can do on the weekends. I tried checking for viruses on Malwarebytes - anti-malware on full scan but it reported that my 60,000 files are clean. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

First question how do you connect to the internet.

1. A wired Ethernet cable connection.
2. A wireless adapter that is fitted into the computer or laptop.

Second question.

If the connection is wireless, What is the brand name and model number of the wireless router.

Third question

Do you have any virus and firewall protection such as AVG, Norton, or Mcafee running on the system.

Why do I state this, because if the connection works in safe mode then it points to a problem of a software firewall or virus protection.
Since in safe mode All of the programs are not run or executed.
Where as in normal windows mode they are, and it is leading you not to be able to get web pages from a browser.

There are a few rules here, never run windows firewall in conjunction with another Such as Avg,Norton or, Mcafee. or you will get such things as web page blocking.
If you have a router it also becomes harder because they contain a hardware firewall as well.

If the answer is yes then you should stick to one software firewall and disable the others.
The point that browsing web pages in safe mode with networking point`s to this problem.

Let me know if it fixes your problem.

I have a wireless Connection, It's a SKY broadband router, I don't know how to get the model number. Is that the same as Serial number? I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and the original windows Firewall but it doesn't work (keeps showing random errors)
