Okay guys I've been saving for a while and I feel like I've finally put together enough money for a decent build. Any tips or improvements would be greatly appreciated. Also wondering if my PSU is overkill. Also if I should go with 32gb of RAM or 16gb of RAM.

My build is as follows:

Case: Corsair Vengeance C70 Mid-Tower Gaming Case, Gunmetal Black Colour
PSU: OCZ Fatalt1ty 1000W Modular PSU 80 Plus Gold
Mobo: ASUS MAXIMUS-VI-HERO/Z87/
CPU:Intel Core i7 4770K LGA1150 CPU 3.5Ghz 8Mb Cache Haswell
Cooling:Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100i Liquid CPU Cooler
RAM:Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 CMY16GX3M2A1866C9 1866MHz
GPU: eVGA GTX770 4G Superclocked w/ ACX Cooler
BOOT DRIVE: Corsair 128GB 2.5" Force Series GS
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB SATA3 HDD 64M Caviar Blue WD10EZEX

Thanks guys appreciate the feedback.

Solution
For gaming go wih 8gb ram, a i5-4670k and put more money to the gpu for a gtx 780. Also get a cheaper PSU 1000W is bs for this build

about the ram it depend what you will do with your computer??
8 gb = gaming 16 gb = video editing / multitasking....

get a samsung ssd ( evo or pro series)

psu 750W and more will be sufficient ( corsair/xfx/seasonic...)

Okay guys so my setup is now as follows:

Case: Corsair Vengeance C70 Mid-Tower Gaming Case, Gunmetal Black Colour
PSU: Corsair AX760 Modular ATX Power Supply, 80 PLUS Platinum
Mobo: ASUS MAXIMUS-VI-HERO/Z87/
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K LGA1150 CPU 3.4Ghz 6Mb Cache Haswell
Cooling: Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H80i Liquid CPU Cooler
RAM:Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 CMY16GX3M2A1866C9 1866MHz RED
GPU: eVGA GTX780 3G superclocked
BOOT DRIVE: Samsung 256GB SSD 840BW Pro SATA3 2.5
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB SATA3 HDD 64M Caviar Blue WD10EZEX

So I kept the 16GB of ram because I may actually do a small amount of video editing at a later date. Only question I have now is, should I go for a GTX690 over a GTX780? They are both around the same price.

Gigabyte GF GTX 690 PCI-E 3.0 4GB 512-bit DDR5, Base:915 boost:1019/6008 MHz, DVI-I x 2, DVI-D Limit = $869.

the gtx 780 is cheaper then the 690

but the gtx 690 beat the gtx 780 in term of performance by 10 to 15% approx..

if you find a gtx 690 for 700$ that will be a bargain!! just take a note for gtx 690..that gpu need 50W more to run
