Hello, I recently upgraded my a3-3400 llano too a 3870k Quad core processor, for some reason I'm still having a hard time running the game smoothly.

My cpu isn't bottle necking, and when I click presets it sets it to 5 out of 6. I turn everyone down to 1 roughly and I'm still lagging and not getting the smooth effect of play. Does anyone have any ideas?

My cpu is A8 3870k Quad core.
My gpu is Radeon Hd 6770.
Also got a 6550d Integrated from my card. It's amd.

Edit: Also, I set dual graphics on in the bios, The cpu Is usually around 35%-60%-70%

That graphics card is very weak which is probably it. What game are you trying to play?

Tera doesn't run well on any system. It's poorly optimized, uses mostly the CPU instead of the GPU, and only uses 2 cores.

The way to make Tera run the fastest is to have 2 really strong cores. The best way then is to have a highly overclocked i5.

With that you might get half playable framerates in Nexus. Otherwise good luck with that.

I'm trying to play Never Winter and Tera. The only problem with getting the I5 is I'd have to get a new rig, whcih I don't have the money for.
I don't think it's my gpu considering Even when the graphics on low it's still like it.

Ah ok, I actually play some neverwinter myself. I'm guessing that you get lag in busy city centers with lots of people?
