Hi,
I just recently got a G1 Assassin 1366 socket replacement. I am getting serveral error messages and am trying to figure out the cause. I have the following setup:

i7-950 1366 socket
Windows Ultimate 64bit
G1 Assassin v1 replacement
Corsair 1600 DDR-3 Ram 12GB total listed below
CM3X2G1600C9NX 2GBx3
TR3X6G1600C8 2GBx3

New RAM tested by Geek Squad
PNY Optima MD8192KD3 1333mhz 12GB

Error Messages:
1. Recovering Lost DRAM Size after bios screen.

2. Computer fails to boot and restarts with the same error message as listed abve. This goes on several times.

3. Bios does not recognize all sticks of RAM. Slots 5 and 6 are disabled.

4. Windows shows all 12GB but only 8GB are usuable.

5. Bios also shows only 8GB as well.

Troubleshooting:
I have done the following:

1. Tested each slot seperately with every stick of RAM.

2. Tested each slot wit the same set. Two out of 3 slots show being used in the bios. Same stoy for both sets of RAM and new RAM. I read the manual and put the memory in the correct spots for dual and triple channel.

3. I have checked the CPU pins and all seem fine.

4. I have reinstalled Windows and reset the bios for 15min.

At this point I'm stumpped. Gigabyte cannot find anything wrong with the board and refuse to send me a new one. Please help. If I purchase new memory will that fix the issue? Are there some RAM someone can suggest?

Thanks for your help,
Sincerely,
Col. Reb
