on my motherboard there is a nine pin conector for for the case header it goes like:

PLED+|PLED-|PWRBTN#|GND
HDLED+|HDLED-|GND|RESET#|DUMMY

The conectors i have that i am confused about is my HDLED is a 2 pin and it does not have signifiaction on wich side is positive and witch is negative but one side does have an arrow pointing up. The PWRBTN# is a two pin but there is only space for one but yet again this one has a arrow pointing towards the tip. and the same thing for the reset button as the power button. What should i do?

MOBO= ASRock 970 Extreme4

Solution
Connect to PWRBTN and GND. The same for Reset. + doesn't matter for buttons, only for leds.
When pressing those buttons, you actually make a connection between the 2 pins, so no relevance for positive or negative.

the hdled goes below the power led in the same way,the power on top pin 3-4 the same for the reset 3-4 also check the link and use the magnifier on page 33 that the best i can do since there is no other option in the motherboard user manual .
