If you have the room for it, yes. It was (and still is) a good cooler design. Be sure you have planty of air flow through your case, however. At least an un blocked front fan and a rear fan.

I don't think that model cooler has an easily changable fan. It is an odd 110mm and sits down inside the cooler. The replacement would have to fit equally as well and have similar RPM/CFM ratings as well as a 4 wire PWM cable and connector. I would try it as is before worrying about changing the fan. Oh, sorry. I should have seen the name was for the Noctua cooler and not a Noctua fan. Yes the Noctua would be a better cooler, but TBH either one is more than necessary for that processor if you don't overclock it and have good air flow in the case. The Noctua is a very good cooler, probably a step above the Zalman.
