So I'm building my first PC for mid level gaming and am wondering if these parts are decent so far? I don't have much knowledge on motherboards or PSU's so any advice on what I get would be greatly appreciated!

Trying to budget around $800-$900

Just make sure you socket types of the motherboard and your cpu match up

e.g. Make sure your motherboard in this scenario uses 1150.

I'd recommend Asus or Gigabyte for the motherboard. However, if you plan on overclocking, make sure it is a Z87 series as H series motherboards do not allow overclocking.

Also, I'd recommend Seasonic, Antec, and Cooler Master as good power supply brands.

Given the effeciency of recient parts (such as the latest Intel processors) You won't need anything more than 600w. Pick quality over price. Anything from Seasonic, Antec, Coolermaster.
