Hi everyone,
I have a Windows 7 32 PC but without DVD reader.
I bought a 120Gn SSD drive that I want to use as system drive with Windows 7 64.
So I connected my SSD drive and installed from windows 7 32 with an iso file of my Windows 7 64 drive on my SSD drive.
This works fine since when I start my PC I have a boot menu with both 32 and 64 windows 7 choices. So I transfered all my work document onto the 64 environment.
The problem is that if I remove the disk with windows 7 32 from my system, my PC won't boot any more and ask for a system disk. I used bootsect to try to fix this and now it says "BootMGR is missing". My SSD drive has windows 7 64 on it but is not bootable alone.
Is there a way to make my SSD drive bootable alone to be able to remove my former drive (the one that has windows 7 32) if possible without having to reinstall the SSD?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Kind regards
