Internet Cuts Out But Wireless Is Fine?

So for the last few days, my internet cuts out about twice an hour. When it cuts out, the network icon shows a yellow ! for 3-5 seconds and goes back to normal.

This problem only occurs on my desktop, which is connected hardwire to the modem. My laptops don't have this problem. Not sure what is causing this, but my ISP couldn't figure it out.

My modem: Cisco DPC3825

If only your desktop is affected and your laptops have no Internet connectivity issues, then this won't be an issue with the Internet.

I would concentrate on the Cisco DPC3825 (firmware etc), your PC (drivers as already mentioned), and probably first of all, swap out the Ethernet cable connecting your PC to the Cisco DPC3825 - it could be faulty.

OK, I downloaded the latest LAN driver for my motherboard. I rebooted my pc and it still is disconnecting

EDIT: I decided to clean out my comp, blasted the insides with canned air, replug/making sure everything is snug. Now after 5 hours it seems to not have disconnected. Will update after a few days
