I have an ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 motherboard and a GeForce GTX 550ti graphics card. I have two monitors connected to the graphics card but wanted to add an additional monitor to the VGA port of the motherboard. For some reason it doesnt detect it in Windows 7 and when checking the BIOS I couldnt find anything that would give the motherboard priority over the graphics card. Any help would be appreciated.

You can only use that VGA port when using the motherboard's onboard graphics. To do this, you will have to disable or remove your graphics card.

If you would like to use your graphics card, you will have to utilize the 3rd output display port on your graphics card.

So there is no way of using them both concurrently?

No, unfortunately a discrete GTX 550ti cannot work with Intel integrated graphic chipsets.
If you need a third output, you could use an output adapter (e.g. DVI to HDMI).
