I have re-entered college (after 37 years!) and need Adobe Acrobat. I have a 2012 MacBook Pro and need Adobe Acrobat for some college documents. How can I tell if this is on my computer?

If it's for reading PDF documents you don't need it, it's already built in to OS X.

No. Adobe Acrobat is for producing PDF documents. The reader is called - guess what - Adobe Acrobat Reader.

OP - Try a search on "Acrobat", using Spotlight, and see what shows up. If you can't remember installing Acrobat then it's pretty unlikely that you have it.
