Looks pretty good to me. That 780 is a beast. Two suggestions:
- that's an ultra high end PSU, the tx750 is $90 on newegg at the moment, then a $20 mir on top of you want. Still a good unit and saves a chunk of cash.
- you don't list an SSD. Doesn't really help for gaming, but no way I'd be building a high end rig without an SSD. It would make your system subjectively far more responsive. A 120GB Samsung 840 Evo would do the trick. You'll be fine without one though.
Nice build though either way.

Reasons why I gave it less then a 10:
-No SSD
-ADATA ram (I don't like/trust ADATA branded items)
-No CPU cooler
-Low-end Motherboard
-1150 socket (I prefer the 2011 socket for a couple reasons)

This is still a very good system though! A 10 for me is probably a $3000 system.

Would the motherboard cause me any problems?

8 or so but needs tweaks.

Add at least a cheap $35 air cooler (crazy not to with oc cpu and mobo). Change to corsair low profile ram. Get a samsung 840 evo 250gb ssd. Drop the 780 to a 770 if you have to stay under a budget. Platinum psu rarely pays for itself unless you pay a lot for electricity or keep the system under load the better part of all day.

I'm not really planning on over clocking, I'm going with this just incase if I plan to in the future. If I do I will get a cpu cooler.

Then you really don't need the "k" branded CPU if you don't plan on OC'ing.

I may overclock that's the thing

Glad I could help.
A CPU cooler can be added later, so I understand your logic there. If there's no cut out on the back of the motherboard tray in your case it's a big job (removing the motherboard) so bear that in mind.
Are you gaming at 1080p? If so, jed70s suggestion to drop to a 770 is worth considering. Save you a big chunk of cash and still plenty fast. Both good cards though.

not really, I've never owned ASROCK boards since they didn't have a good reputation in the past. Now, they seem to be okay. I would still recommend an Asus.

This is what I would get: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131989
It will help you in Ocing later on if you so choose. Its a really good board, since its got a lot of features, yet its relatively cheap compared to its ~$400 counterparts.
