I would like to be able to play the following games and push a 32" TV with it running a 1920x1080 resolution. I have a sapphire 7770 HD graphics card, 1 GHz i believe, i know its not the best but for the price i really didn't have a choice in it. I do have a 250 GB SSD for the games along with a separate 120 GB SSD for the operating system (Windows 7 Ultimate x64) & the programs.

My System Specs

I would like to play the following games:
Sims 2 & 3 (All Expansions & Downloads)
Grand Theft Auto (V & Down)
Batman: Arkham Origins
(My fiances) Nancy Drew games
(Maybe) Call of Duty: Black Ops & possibly Ghosts
Total War (All of them)
Sid Mieres (All of them)
Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 & 3
(Maybe) some NFS games
Age of Empires II & III

Please and thanks in advance.

What do you have for a processor? The 7770 will run all of those games. Some better than others but as long as you adjust the graphics settings accordingly, you shouldn't have any issues. That being said, if you're still using something like a 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo you might have a little bit of an issue with some of the games (Total War Rome II and Origins specifically), but they will still be playable.

I'm currently running:
AMD Fx-8350 (8-core; 4.0 GHz - without graphic cores, just straight 8 core processor)
Corsair 16 GB Vengeance 1866 MHz Ram
Kraken x60 Water-cooler
*A total of 10 fans in the case (NZXT Switch 810)

Also would this card do alright in Photoshop, editing pictures and that sort of thing? My fiance would be using this computer the most, (except for managing my music library - 250+ gigs of music & my movie collection, along with my light internet and gaming) but only cause i prefer my laptop for this mainly cause its portable. That runs a quad core by itself. She would like to learn how to use Photoshop and edit pictures, but my last computer was a P4, and it didn't have nearly enough "power" to run half of these games.

With that setup you will be fine. You'll have to adjust the graphic settings down a bit on a couple of games, but must of them will play on high without a problem. I'm a photographer as well and a 7770 will work just as well as a 7970 when it comes to Photoshop. You've got a nice setup... I think you will be pretty happy with the results you get for the games you're looking to play!
