Hi, I am choosing a power supply and have pcked out my number one contender, which is an EVGA SuperNOVA 650W Gold. The PSU is modular, 80+ Gold, and I can get it on sale for $70.
My build:
CPU: Intel i7-4770K
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme
Motherboard: Asus Z87 Pro.
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory, CAS 8.
Storage: Samsung 120GB EVO SSD
Video Card: 7870 Ghz Edition
Case: Corsair 400R.
Optical Drive: Generic Asus DVD/CD Drive
Networking: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 802.11a/b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter
Question is, will this power supply work with all of these products? The GPU has two 6-pin connectors, so will there be enough power/connectors from the power supply to work? In the future, I plan to use a GTX 770/780 or 7970. Is this power supply reliable and able to power the newer graphics cards?.Also, are there any options that are better/cheaper?
