You didn't share it correctly. What is the power supply you will be getting?

Go for something like this.

FX-6300 - $110 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009O7YORK/ref=as_li_q...
MSI 970 mobo - $70 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B9BDB14/ref=as_li_q...
8GB RAM - $65 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0057Q4ADU/ref=as_li_q...
HIS IceQ HD7870 - $180 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007HYIRES/ref=as_li_q...
Optical - $20 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0033Z2BAQ/ref=as_li_q...
NZXT Source 210 - $30 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005869A7K/ref=as_li_q...

That's around $475

I don't mean to hijack the thread and please ignore if necessary, but what if he was looking to keep the build Intel? Could you post a good recommendation for that? Looking to build one with my son, for him to play his strategy, rpg, action style games... Thanks!
