After i Installed the software for the Radeon HD 6450 that was included i restarted the computer which it promted me to do. Now it freezes and i am not sure what to do.

My computer specs

Processor
AMD Athlon™ II X2 220 Processor
8 gb ram (max mobo can handle)

Power Supply
220W

I know that it requires a 400w psu
I have removed the optical drive and added a
VisionTek Juice Box VT-450CD 450W SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Dedicated Graphics & CPU Power Supply

so i figure that i would have enough power.

also plese note that when i installed the card it worked fine and worked after i installed the programs that came with it. it just failed after i restart it.

Have you removed the card and wiped the drivers then tried installing again?

yep
atleast i am pretty sure i did

removed all the software for that card and reinstalled my old one. ran fine. So i had some time to fiddle with it again and it did the same thing as before. I think there is a bug in the software that i installed but im not sure what i can all do

Hey Chris I looked wondered puzzled and I came up empty. This is not making sense the fact that you are getting past the post screen means it should not be a driver, hardware, or power issue anything like that would stop the PC before windows started to load. and ok its not the most modern pc but your not trying to plug in a 690 or something its a £30 card here in the UK. Unless there is some sort of crazy issue with the integrated nvida graphics. But like you said it was working thats the bit. you could reformat the hdd if you can and re install windows but that seems a bit nut for this kind of problem. Sorry man I fumbled in the end zone on this one.

Dam never load the drivers from disk unless you have to as they are the original drivers and are buggy as hell. Sorry from what you said I just assumed that what you were doing best of luck :D

Again this happens all the time. I have more versions of C++ sitting on my HDD than I care to think about each bigger than the last. Im a hardware guy most of the time I do my best to duck when I see a software issue. To err on the side of caution I would install the version is wants.
