Obviously the 670 would be better, but is it worth paying the extra $50-100 for? This is my first build so I have no experience with either.
So far I have: i5 4670 Haswell, 8Gb RAM, MSI Z87-GD45
I also want to SLI at some point in the future. Is either one better for this?
I initially wanted to spend around $220, but after seeing some 670's at around $300 (newegg) I wondered if they are worth it and if there is a huge performance gap between them to justify the +50% price tag.
Thanks.

Solution
Either get a GTX 760 if you plan to use dual GPUs in the future or a AMD HD 7950 if you plan to just use one. Also if you don't plan to overclock go with a Xeon CPU and mobo.

Actually thats a fair point. How do the 760's compare to the 670's performance-wise?
Also if I were to run 2 760's SLI would I still need the 750W that the 670's would need?
