Will my amd FX 6300 or an amd FX 8320 Be better at recording gameplay such as black ops 2 or battlefield 4(when it comes out) or does recording be based off GPU ( im pretty sure it isnt)

Solution
Think of it like this. When you are recording gameplay, your game will use a certain number of cores (I believe black ops can only use 4). That leaves X cores of your CPU there for your recording software (depending on what CPU you buy). Obviously, the more cores you can get the better, but if your recording software only really needs 2 cores why lay down the extra dough? I would do more research into your recording software and see how the core distribution will work with it.
