My skype was suddenly unable to connect so I uninstalled it and decided to wipe it from the registry.
While doing it, I accidently deleted a couple of registry entries. Upon restarting my computer, after the startup, every single one of my windows and programs freeze. The taskbar then disappears and my background turns white.
"microsoft windows this application is not responding" suddenly pops up asking me to end proccess or wait. I can't even click on it. I try to use Ctrl+Alt+Del, but then the screen turns black and says it cannot be opened.
After 5 minutes everything returns back to normal. I did a system restore to before I made changes to the registry but this problem still occurs.

I would do a Windows 7 repair installation like THIS to save your data and installed programs. You will have to reinstall all Windows updates since SP1 though. If you don't have the install disk still, just download a disk image of the same version Windows 7 from HERE and burn it to a DVD. Use your activation key to reactivate.
