i have successfully delidded my 3570k. my question is which of the following is the best tim to use between the die and ihs.(coollaboratory products are neither available for purchase nor import.. i have acces to
cooler master thermal fusion 400, essentials e1,e2, X1
noctua ht-h1
deepcool z3,z5,z9
antec formula 6,7
arctic silver 5, ceramique 2
i am able to import gelid gc exteme, prolimatech pk-3, arctic mx-4
please suggest a tim with least pump out to performance ratio.. i am able to change the tim every 4-5 months if required.
(Right now using noctua as tim but apparantly is not good to use between die and ihs.)
anyone please

Solution
That seems strange that Noctua HT-H1 wouldn't work well?

I am a big advocate for Arctic MX-4, and I already know that some people use MX-2 on their de-lidded Ivy Bridges, so I believe that to be an adequate choice. I imagine that Gelid GC-Extreme and Prolimatech PK-3 would also be really good choices.

I would go for Arctic Silver Ceramique 2 over Arctic Silver 5, if only because it is not electrically capacitive.

Then there's this: http://www.moddiy.com/products/Dow-Corning-TC%252d5022-%283.5g%29.html

noctua being bad due to pump out effect..
ceramique 2 provides same performance but it has been proven to be used with bare die's in the past..
then again i wonder any good quality thermal paste will suffice.
right now
my temps being 66-68 IBT core0-core3 4.3 ghz stock volt H80i. ambient being 30-31C
i am sure my layer is not thin. i will reapply .
max for my board is 4.7 ghz. though my 3570k is capable of more
