WHAT'S the cause/cure for this insane problem I'm having with my desktop display? When I "close" a website to move onto ANOTHER website, 3/4's off the previous site remains on my desktop. I can see my icons THROUGH whatever is on that particular website but talk about HARD to READ... It's hard to explain exactly but if you were looking at a screen the top left hand quarter is my "normal" desktop while the remaining 3/4's are previous sites I've visited. I AM able to hit my icons through this debris but it's driving me NUTS!!! I probably should have the name of my graphics card or something and if necessary I WILL find that information out. Thanks in advance to ANYBODY who can sort the CLuster$&%@ out...

+1 to that. if the problem occurs in the screenshot then it is probably a software issue. if the screenshot looks fine then it could be a monitor/hardware issue.

does your graphics card have any 3D options that you may have accidentally enabled?

Hi Everyone:
Sorry I didn't answer you right away but it was 2:30am for me and SLEEP was priority #1 at that point... Anyhow, I'm using XP home edition 2002 Version with service pack 3.
It's ONLY happened once before on THIS monitor and I can't for the life of me remember WHAT it was we did to fix it. I know it was REALLY SIMPLE! I haven't got 3D turned on OR tiled view.
OH WOW! I FIXED it. I right clicked in the 1/4 page of "normal" desktop and I went through EVERY button and finally found myself looking at a yield sign with exclamation mark inside indicating that I had NO power source selected. I can't remember the choices right now but one of them was "GENERIC" and I just GUESSED when I chose THAT particular one. I'm gonna write that down BEFORE I gap it again.
Thanks for the imput guys. MUCHLY appreciated!
