Heloo ppl,
A few days ago i Bought a ASUS Sabertooth 2.0R mobo with a AMD FX-8350 (the 8 core) and while playing for example Saints Row IV on ultra my V-Core1 and V-Core2 temps are reaching up to 61 degrees c' but my tottest core stays at around 53c-57c.. im warried about playing BF3 that uses up to 4 (or 6) cores if availeble
my knowladge (and english) is a bit poor so sry for that BUT is this normal?? what should be the limit??

PC info:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 8-core at 4.0Mhz (will be OC if temps allow it)
CPU Cooling: Thermaltake water 3.0 Performer
MB: ASUS Sabertooth 2.0R 990FX
GPU: Sapphire AMD HD 7950 Vapor-x cooling 3GDDR5
PSU: Thermaltake 550W a bit old but supports my PC so far
Case: a bit old too But has 2 front fans, 1 side fan that blows on the GPU and MB (obv) i guess some of the air reaches the Vcores too

THX in advance for reading all of this and for any help <33

Solution
Your temperatures are fine. It is not unusual for the cores to show different temperatures, even as much as 8*. The sensors for the readings are located in different places and the readings will vary.

I would not suggest overclocking using your current psu - the thermaltakes are not very well made and you run the risk of failure on that supply. 550w is fine, but make sure you have a good, well built supply like seasonic, xfx, corsair or antec.
