Hi, i'm not really sure which one too pick, i will be building a new system for gaming, recording and posting videos on youtube which one would be best?
Yes, I agree, 4670k is better for gaming. If it's recording you want to do you need some more RAM, preferably 16gb for recording and gaming at the same time, also rendering too.
The new FX 9370 is out. It is a better comparison to the Haswell. Plus, it is about the same price as the i7, so AMD fan boys can't boast about the performance per dollar anymore.
Then there is the FX 9590 which costs, , $800 and is still slower than a 3770k
Get the 4670k, much better for gaming.
Is the 4670k good for recording, rendering videos?

Yes, even with the internal GPU of the 4670k (HD 4600 I believe) you should be able to record and render quite efficiently. If you get a high end discrete GPU, you will see even better performance in rendering times.
I was looking to get a gtx 770, how long do you think it would take to render say a 20 minute long video at 1080p?
