Hello guys, I am new to this forum so yeah. Anyways, my question is that if its possible for me to remove the on board GPU of my laptop as its messed up. Probably it needs to be reballed but I dont have the money at the moment to do it. Now, if I remove it. Will I still be able to run my laptop normally, and play games and stuffs? Or would it have effed up graphics? Is there any other solution in alternative for reballing.

PS: I've already heated it and it worked for 2 weeks. So I dont want to keep doing it and destroy the GPU.

Thanks in advance.

Well I know the GPU can be removed by desoldering it. But I was wondering if my laptop would still run without the GPU. I just dont want to spend money on this laptop again as its really old. :\

Does that distinction really make a difference to you? I assumed "No, you can't remove it" and "You can physically remove it, but your laptop won't work when you do" amounted to the same thing in your case.
