Hi everyone first things first Spec
Gigbyte Z68X-UD3P-B3
Intel i5 2500k @ 1.35v 4.7Ghz
6870 HIS
6870 Iceq
Been messing with the voltage meter in MSI Afterburner
At first nothing even with changed settings then after a couple of restarts I noticed it had changed and would adjust (slider always adjusted voltage stayed the same)
But I noticed the second card (thats the normal HIS board) Voltage was changing to suit the overclock then crashing out. Why dont it cap the voltage on the second card but will on the first.
Ive seen it hit 1.4v.
Stupid question but where does it get the voltage reading from, is it the PSU telling whats being sent out or is it the card telling us what's coming in ?
Either way I just want it to lock at a constant voltage level.
Dont mind sticking it at 1.3v
Current overclock 960/1160 both cards should be stock voltage second card rose to 1.24v and crashed the driver.
