After installing a GTX 770, All my games freeze after about 0-5 min. I then uninstalled that card and put back in my old 7750 (After wiping the drivers) The same issue kept happening. I then bought a new 850 W power supply and no change. I have a B75M-D3H, 850 W psu, and an I5 3470

Do the following:

-Check temps
-Replicate the issue with other software, such as a benchmark to isolate the GPU as the fault
-Reinstall graphics drivers and remove all branded software (ie Afterburner, etc)
-Find at roughly what usage the freeze occurs (eg 10% or 100% load on gpu)
-Check PSU connections to mobo and gpu

I reinstalled all drivers I did benchmarks on everything except mobo (Idk how you benchmark a mobo) only test it failed was GPU test. Tried second card (same model) still failed, Card is at 80%-100% when it fails. It failed at 45 degrees. Psu connections are fine tried 2 PSUs

Can you describe the freeze? Does the audio also play on the last note?

It could be a windows update that has done something regrettable, or a mobo issue. Can you test the gpu in another pc? Just to be sure that it isnt actually both cards...

What basically happens is the sound cuts off and then I have to hard power down and sometimes it restarts automatically. I've tried it in a different pc and it worked. I am buying a new mobo and il see if that works, im getting it on Tuesday.
