http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Distant719/saved/2lpz Now I know the first thing everyone is going to say is the case is a little ridiculous but I am pretty deadset on the case mainly for the simple fact of upgradeability and also I like the Alienware-esque look, other than that I would kind of just like the communities opinion before I start purchasing everything in the next week or so.

It was really good, I simpy shaved off a few parts that cost a bit too much and replaced them, its abou $200 cheaper. I highly recommend a better cooler, such as a H100, for overclocking, but up to you! here is it: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kirilmatt/saved/2gsL

If this is mostly for gaming, you can save alot of money and lose no performance.

There is no need for a motherboard that expensive. Pretty much any decent Z87 board will work.
